The Joint Commission and probe manufacturers recommend storing probes to protect them from damage or contamination, consistent with national guidelines and manufacturers’ recommendations, such as hanging them vertically in a cabinet and storing them in a clean environment. CIVCO's Ultrasound Probe Storage System provides a safe and sanitary storage environment for your disinfected ultrasound probes. A fan draws air through a replaceable HEPA filter providing a continuous flow of clean filtered air allowing safe and clean storage. The easily accessible filter is located on top of the Storage System. The Storage System's locked door provides secure and safe storage. The filter life is monitored, and the indicator light will signal when a replacement filter is required.
