The Radiation L-Block Shields are ideal for providing protection while working with low and high energy gamma emitting radionuclides. They are modular, not requiring any special lifting equipment. Our L-Block shields are available with front shielding from 0.5 to 2.5 inches thick and a selection of lead-glass window sizes. All lead-glass windows have a density of 5.2 g/cm3 and all L-Block shields are encased in stainless steel. Plus, the model 5-2-2-161616-8-DC features a cut-out for the dose calibrator shield. As with all of our products, Phillips Safety can design and manufacture a custom L-Block shield to meet your exact specifications with any thickness of lead, as well as any size or thickness of lead glass window.
