Convertible CT Headrest Non-Stealth

This CT/PET head sponge features a bottom piece that slips out and a holder that has a natural squeezing effect due to the weight of the patients head. The insert helps when scanning heads allowing the user to create a tilt on the head by having it partially inserted. Removing the insert allows it to work for over 80% of patients scanned on a regular basis. This product is radiolucent but not guaranteed to be artifact free.

 Coated Sponges feature a proprietary medical grade, fluid-resistant, cleanable coating over a standard (core) foam interior. Minimal shadowing with low attenuation. Light green color. Coated sponges are radiolucent.

Non-Stealth Sponges are formed with traditional angles and do not feature our proprietary "flared" angles to offer significantly reduced artifacts during viewing. Non-stealth (or non-flared) sides may show artifacts when imaging, specifically when coating is applied.
